Kristen SanGiovanni

Kristen has always loved physical activity. She discovered yoga while in treatment for her breast cancer diagnosis in 2011 and fell in love with all aspects of it. The movement, breathwork, and mindfulness help her to stay grounded on and off the mat. 
Already an educator in the middle school sector, her love for adolescents and her passion for teaching led her to Downtown Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training in 2022.  She received her certification and hopes to help others (at every age) enjoy the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
