Samantha Yingling

Sam Yingling has been practicing yoga for over 12 years, and in 2022 committed to practicing daily for an entire year. She quickly saw amazing benefits in her mind, body, and spirit; and heard a whisper from her intuition that guiding others in the yoga practice would be part of her story. She enrolled in Downtown Yoga’s 200 Hour teacher training, completing the program in May 2023. As someone who has dealt with depression and anxiety since adolescence, yoga has given her a sense of well being and peace that nothing else ever has, and she is thus very passionate about sharing the mental health benefits of yoga. She encourages everyone to come exactly as they are to the mat, and provides a judgment free space for a dynamic and fun physical practice and mental respite.

In her free time, you can likely find Sam sitting on her deck with a good book, gardening, or hanging out with her husband and two sons, just enjoying the simple things in life.
